Morning assemblies in the school are given a lot of importance. The students start their day invoking the Almighty with the recitation of Ved Mantras. This also provides regular platform for public speaking, reading news, views and discussing current affairs. The aim is that no DAV child should suffer from stage fright. Other cultural programmes, songs and dances, dramas, yoga help the children in shaping their all round personality.

A trained yoga teacher provides yoga training to the growing children of the school Yoga Team of School Participates in DAV National Sports besides keeping the Prime Ministers International Yoga Day programme active and vibrant with their prize winning activities every year.
Excursions & Educational Tours
School picnics are organized class wise every year to provide a break from the school’s monotonous routines. Multi-Disciplinary projects have taken students to various places of educational, Historical, Scientific relevance. More recently, they had been to Aluminium factory, Kewda factory, Local Silk work units, Brass goods units etc..
